Spring is here, let’s get inspired to grow Sea-Sides!
The thought of walking outside to your own passion pit of fruits and vegetables could be a reality.  Really.
If the thought of that is at all intimidating, think again. You could create just the smallest of gardens in your backyard or on your window pane; you could have vines of tomatoes or a patch of strawberries at your fingertips.
This picture was taken at Flora Farms, San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, when I had the opportunity to take a tour through their amazing, flourishing, organic garden.
For over 10 years we have been farming without the use of pesticides or genetically modified seeds.”
“I’ve never been closer to a ‘farm to table’ experience.” I sat for lunch alongside the endless rows of vegetables of what appeared on my plate!
There is ’labor of love’ going on at Flora Farms, as evident in the 10-acre farm.  And they have a great story of rescuing dogs!

In the heart of Mexico, there exists a remarkable garden that serves as a source of sustenance not only for local communities but also as a supplier of fresh produce to esteemed chefs in the United States. This garden, despite its modest size, yields bountiful rewards. It’s a testament to the immense potential of cultivating your own Sea Sides, no matter how limited your gardening space may be.

The benefits are manifold. Firstly, homegrown produce offers substantial cost savings, as it eliminates the need to purchase expensive vegetables from the market. Moreover, the flavor of freshly harvested, homegrown vegetables is unparalleled, infusing every dish with a unique and authentic taste. Additionally, the sense of pride and accomplishment in saying, “I grew it myself,” is immeasurable.

As spring ushers in a season of renewal, it’s the perfect time to embark on your gardening journey. Whether you have a sprawling garden or just a small balcony, the opportunity to nurture and Grow Your Sea Sides awaits. Happy Spring!
